Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills, stains) in one go without having to swap out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
affordable robot vacuum will offer excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins, refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads from the dock that is specifically designed for them.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the simplest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start guide can get you up and running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a range of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
You could, for instance, ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only problem is that the robot tends to crash into objects and walls at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will tell you precisely what the robot has accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles he has run into or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station informs you when maintenance tasks are required including emptying the debris tray and rinsing its dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the water tank by itself with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time, with the mop able to operate for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode, and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. And you can see the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and easy to understand however we would like to be able distinguish between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's flagship robot mop and vacuum. The model of this year features an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might be unable to pick up.
This Roborock model, like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by having a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without skipping a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek, angular style is striking and has just three physical buttons: the power button, that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.
The only negative I found with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. You can replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number intelligent features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these advanced features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life and component maintenance. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops in order to enable voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is an industry leader with its innovative features, top suction power and advanced mopping capabilities. Its intelligent design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while saving you time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to offer 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum cleans up dry debris, including pet hair and crumbs. It comes with a mop of top quality that cleans hard floors without the use of pads. The X40 is also extremely quiet when in operation, with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 also has a side brush that is able to be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture that is curved such as table and chair legs. It also lets the robot to access furniture with a low profile, making it a great choice for small apartments and condos with limited space. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a great feature that allows the X40 to prevent damage to floors from excessive back-and forth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are limited to one task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. It can also be programmed to avoid areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is user-friendly and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It is also possible to alter suction power, alter modes, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also keep track of its progress and notify you when it is finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features that make it an excellent option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin and wash mop pads before refilling them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It can also detect when the mop pad is full and notify you when it gets overflowing, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available however, it comes with numerous extra features that distinguish it from. Smart DuoScrub, a new feature on its mops, uses two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and small dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This is an excellent feature since it prevents the build-up of odours and mould in storage, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and could be a useful way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There are a lot of options, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or there are buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers a variety of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also comes with many features that aren't offered on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing but it's not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping system is also well designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can also extend to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice feature.
